Unfortunately for him it takes more than one guy to win a football game. Miami is bad and to make matters worse they're old. They needed draft picks. They are not even close to being one great runner away from success.

What are you talking about?
I realize you were bickering with an AU fan but to say Miami is a bad team
and there not even close to being successful is just incorrect.
First of all, look at their roster, most players are under 30, they do have some
key guys that are 30 or over but I've seen much older teams out there.
Jason Taylor is 30
Sam Madison is 30
Zach Thomas is 31
Junior is the oldest person on the team at age 35
The kicker and the punter are 31 and 34, they have 5 players over 30.

Miami has had one of the best defenses in the NFL for years.
They were really bad against the run last year but they were #1 in passing
defense.

In 2003 they were 3rd in passing defense and 5th in running defense.
In 2002 Miami was 3rd in passing defense and 5th in running defense.

Look, obviously Miami hasn't recovered from losing Dan Marino but I think if
they can run the ball this year it will allow some of their Qb's to make plays
but I do think Miami isn't as bad as their record last year.
I believe last year was a fluke, they leaned way too much on one player, we
now know what happens when you do that!
