It happened Saturday night/sunday morning at 2 am it hasn't been close to a week yet, CNS is out of town in Georgia or has been anyhow.

Since it wasn't coach Saban that got arrested I'd have to say he isn't in trouble , in the least. As far as I know until Coaches get facts about events they usually don't take action.

If whats been stated in several places I expect 1 player to be gone for sure. The other 2 including a player with starting potential still unknown exactly what happened with them.

When he decided to rejoin the SEC my mom didnt understand why my dad and I were so mad.....so my dad explained to her...its like me divorcing you then 5 years down the road wanting to get back in the family and instead of marrying you I married your sister...her response was Hang Him...lol:crystal:

as much as i dislike satan now, and i hope he gets his arse kicked every game.....

we give miles the benefit of gathering all the facts before he hands down punishment so i will give the same to the arrogant one. however, i wont give him forever.

as far as the other tider on the board goes, does anyone really expect anything less than us being lectured on how wonderful cns is?

Guys, I'm telling you. Just chill out on this. Don't rush to judgment, either of the players or of the coaches.

I'm an attorney in Tuscaloosa, AL. I do a fair bit of criminal defense, and one of the things that most irks me is when people prejudge the criminally accused. The media often has it totally wrong in these situations, so just let it play out for a while and let the facts develop. Saban won't, and rightly shouldn't, act on this until he knows all the facts, just like Les Miles was right not to crucify Perilloux the second he heard the word "counterfeiting".

Here's the official internet rumor from Tidesports.com (In Tider Speak, the "Caps Lock" means it's seriously true):

FIRST OF ALL, I AM AS FANATIC ABOUT BAMA FOOTBALL AS ANYONE. I WAS THERE, DEADRICK AND UPCHURCH WERE ARRESTED BY TPD AND THREE OTHERS WERE TAKEN AWAY BY UAPD. THE BOUNCERS AT LEGACY TURNED THEM AWAY BECAUSE THEY WERE TRYING TO GET UNDER-AGE GIRLS IN WITH THEM AND THEY DID NOT ADHERE TO DRESS CODE. THEY CAME BACK AND STARTED FIGHTING WITH BOUNCERS. POLICE WERE CALLED. FIRST TWO POLICE OFFICERS ORIGINALLY TRIED TO MAKE THE PLAYERS JUST LEAVE. DEADRICK GOT PHYSICAL WITH THE OFFICERS. BACK UP ARRIVED IN A BIG WAY. DEADRICK ENDED UP PEPPER SPRAYED AND THEN USED HIS HEAD TO BUST WINDOW IN THE BACK OF A UNIT. SEVERAL OTHER PLAYERS WERE PRESENT BUT COULD NOT CONTROL DEADRICK AND "GANG". UPCHURCH WAS ARRESTED BY TPD ALSO. PR IS A HUGE THING WHEN IT COMES TO PLAYERS SO IT WILL TAKE DAY OR 2 TO FILTER TO OFFICIAL MEDIA. I actually have no reason to doubt this, and it sounds like one hell of a time. If this all pans out like it should, we are certainly looking at a bigger P.R. turd than last season's Marajawaun Simpson fiasco. (Read: Players suspended for Western Carolina AND Louisiana Monroe) The "Legit Alabama Media" is attempting to downplay the severity of this story (currently no sign of it on the front page of al.com sports). Either that, or they actually care about "fact checking" and "journalistic integrity." Sucks for them.

No matter what happens, we know that it is Saban's will. Coach works in mysterious ways.

The story is true. I'm sure the threads were shut down because people were rushing to judgement, listening to so many "eyewitnesses" on local radio shows, never minding the fact the details (besides police reports) simply aren't available as of yet.
