Sucks and sorry if already posted.

Look for Sheppard to move to the outside and Minter to take over the middle until Baker is healed. Don't know the severity of the jaw injury yet but confirmed to be broken.

Can't make hard hits with a messed up jaw. It'll probably be a while, I'm guessing.

    Dang.

Bummer! :( Baker has been a player that I've been dying to watch in a regular role for 2 years now (due to all of those VICIOUS hits he's laid on opponents on special teams)!

Hope he has a speedy recovery!

Granted there are different severity levels to a broken jaw, but I don't think it should be TOO long a recovery.

I don't do medicine, but what are we talking, like 6 weeks?

    TheDude I'm calmer than you.

Probably back for Florida game. If we are lucky, back for Tenn.

This. I was excited to see how he would develop in a starting role. He's got potential.

that sucks, watching him light fools up on specials teams for the past 2 seasons, man i was really stoked about seeing him start. But it will give a young guy some experience, which may help us later on in the season.

Worst thing about it is now Sheppard will be forced to move outside. We just don't have the depth at linebacker to shrug this one off easily.

Hopefully he can be back on the early side of the 4-6 weeks.
