Those Bear D flights are worthless. 1950's technology bombers just flying around. Most, if not all, are unarmed and simply out "showing the flag." We used to have a strict intercept point from the carrier, when they flew over, I think that has been relaxed. They have flown down the east coast to Cuba hundreds of times. All the Russians are doing is burning up their cheap gas. Between this "story", the "Vinson story" and the "MOAB story" the media is feeding a frenzy of total non-import stuff and just, again, showcasing their ignorance. Yawn!
