He's not all that as a QB, but he is an AMAZING athlete.

If QB doesn't work out, he'd be a fantastic WR.

    we're on an incredible roll

my prediction of a 4.18 star rating for '09 may be a bit premature, looking more like 4.35

good grief, a really good shot at four 5 star recruits (McFarland, Shepard, Randle, Davenport), and on the list for several others

He came VERY close to commiting today. One of the reasons, he said, was that our coaches wanted him to come as a QB.

Before the start of school year. He wants to at least visit the other schools who've been recruiting him. We'll know by summer's end though.

Sheppard would be a fantastic get. He needs some passing work, but good gravy is he athletic.

Yeah it's exciting to hear that he almost pulled the trigger until you hear his reason for not doing so: to take all the other visits so that he can see what's out there. Well big whoop, that's what all recruits seem to do.

I hope he is geniune and has us way up on his list. If we hear something along these lines on his next visit to another school, then we'll know he was yanking our chain.
