Plano, TX- suburb of Dallas, also did a stint in Cayman Islands right out of college. Only connection to the states was getting to a pub that had satellite tv(rare at the time). Usually had Denver stations. Also had to listen to BBC out of Jamaica on the radio for news. Things have changed a lot in 15 years.
