Florida made us wear the Dinardo gold unis in 98 and Purple in 00, but both of those games were in Gainesville. Spurrior tried to force it in 99, but the AD agreement was already in effect after the Vandy 96 game. LSU wore Purple at home every game from 83 to 94, because NCAA rules did not allow us to even ask. As I understand it, every team on our schedule, including AU, had agreed to allow us to wear white in honor of our 100th season, but the NCAA would not allow it. Only getting Ga Tech to help with the request in 95 allowed Dinardo to bring the white unis back. GEAUX TIGERS
