1. He was too scared to show up in New Orleans. :hihi:
  2. And BTW, it is now forecasted to be a CAT 4 storm ... Katrina's twin.

  3. To scaried you say the dude was in Gulfport the whole time which took some of the eyewall.

Whereever he is you can be sure that is gonna be a place of landfall.

He must have done some really ****ed up stuff in a past life.
  4. That's because he knew he would have to swim out of New Orleans.

You must have missed a few of the big ones like Hilda, Betsy, Camille, etc. We lost 21 people(friends and family) during Camille.
  5. This is all Bush's fault. I saw him swimming off the coast of Africa stirrng up the water and creating the hurricane. Man I wish I would have voted for Kerry. He would have made things perfect for everyone. A Utopia.
  6. Many people in here werent alive (including me) during the last big cycle.. Happens every 20-40 years.. a long cycle of violent summers follow by milder ones.. the 70's 80's and early 90's were fairly calm with less the the normal amount of storms and most minor. Things are pickign up again. The water temp is going up, not from global warming, but from a normal heating cycle.
  7. If the path is anywhere at center or east of this forcast, we will have 3 days of rain... Thursday from the south and friday and saturday from the west...

  8. That's not totally true. Depending on the size of the storm (I haven't looked at a radar image) we may get what you predict and we may get nothing. The hurricane that hit Lafayette a few years back it never rained a drop in Baton Rouge.
  9. This storm is no Katrina in size...

Katrina took up the whole gulf..

This storm is very well organized, but it just didn't engulf the waters yet
  10. Wind and rain, terrible field, tough to pass, but NO lightning, so we'll play.
