It'll only take a few days for Rodriguez to change his name to Rogers. Then, Bama will snap him up. :hihi:

Some people will buy into these rumors, as incredibly crazy as they sound.

    Nick on Bama:

"This has been the case for years," he said. "When I was in college it was always about coming to the pros. This is the challenge I wanted. I had a good college job. Why would I have left that if I was going to be interested in other college jobs?

Per interview with Sexton on SST last night..."Spurrier and Saban are not interested in Bama..."

Rodriguez would be a nice hire. The SEC is something else.

Saban talking with Saban is in the dreams of some media in Alabama and some delusional bama fans. IS IT possible his agent is using Bama to get some more leverage. Very possibe (See spurrier)

But Saban is NOT going to Bama nor is he interested. If he wants to go back to college ball he is not going to Bama to face the wrath yearly of LSU fans and the beating of the SEC. He can pick his jobs (Penn State, Va Tech)
10-1 he ends up at some Big 10 school some day.

But I am as confident Saban is not going to Bama as some Bama fans think he is really intereviewing.

Relax, Saban is not interested in Bama its the same wishful thinking we had during our search. Heck we mentioned everyone from Stoops to Vince Lombardi.

Sounds plausible but in reality Saban is not exactly lighting it up in Dolphin land, and many fans are wondering if they even made the right choice in hiring him. He has no leverage there. The team has very little chance to even finish 8-8 this season after losing to the Pats this coming weekend.
