Don't you know that it doesn't matter how many points per game is scored? The only thing that matters is total offense rankings.

People who really believe that need to look at teams like USCw, Tennessee, and Auburn. They all lost good coaches for different reasons, and talent or no talent, they have all just fallen apart. Les needs the credit that's due to him. Without him, we are probably a 7-5 team at best. We got lucky when we got him. You don't just replace good coaches. Somehow we did.

Years from now, people will be looking back for the Golden Years at LSU............These are the Golden Years, some are missing them.

It would be nice for LSU to finally put a QB in the NFL that could potentially be ready to start. Russell was a big disappointment.

Speaking of Russell...was anybody else reminded of 2006, watching a strong-armed QB make deep throws to more than one receiver?

More of the same on offense this game, didn't see much of a change with Cam calling plays......nothing new.......Looked like Les was calling plays again Saturday night, he's got Cam handcuffed, all the plays went throught Les, same offense we've been seeing for the last 7 years......nothing has changed....man, I hate this offense.......

If Zach Mettenberger is a first round draft pick, that means LSU wins the national championship. That's how I equate the importance of what he does on that field with our chances at a special season.

I did get a note from a Draft friend, he said that early on, Mett was thought to be a mid-rounder in the upcoming draft. After Saturday night, this could change big time. This coming year is one of the deeper drafts with the QB position, last year was one of the lighter at QB. He agreed with me when I said Eric Reid in the 1st or early second last year. I also thought the Seahawks might take a shot with Tharold Simon. I also thought the 9'ers would like to get Reid. Now this year, we could see a few more Jrs. come out early, but lets enjoy the season.
