Re: Dexter Pratt What are those "issues" anyway? Is he thug level? Also, any idea what the real issues were that have seemingly upset Pratt? I mean, we can't control eligibility thru clearinghouse. TR seems unlikely to change from Bama, IMO, making it questionable about spending too much effort trying to get him. CM is a 5* who wanted to be at LSU. It seems a no-brainer to me, but none of us know what the "issues" are with CM. It would be interesting if Pratt ended up at A&M, and CM at LSU.
Re: Dexter Pratt I have not heard of any significant character issues with Michael. He didn't show up a couple of times during the summer when he told LSU he would be here. That soured the relationship from early on. Additionally, LSU thinks Michael is the same kind of RB as Ford. They did not feel the need to have 2 of the same kind of RBs in this class. What was baffling to me was the absence of offers from other big name schools. That had me wondering about his character or grades, or something. But to this point, nothing has surfaced in regards to those things. His recruitment has been a bit of a mystery. Rivals has never backed off his high ranking, however.

Re: Dexter Pratt I haven't seen anything concrete on his character, but I'm pretty sure that there are concerns there. The only word out of LSU's camp is that it is simply a clearinghouse issue. It seems unlikely that is the only thing going on here. Nobody seems to really know what is going on. TR could be worth the push. If you look back to when we were comparing Pratt & CM - I actually liked CM a little better, and our coaching staff was also pretty split on it. The difference is that Pratt offers a battering ram where CM is similar to Ford. It looks like LSU won't have either one, but Ford is better than both.
