Ya know, oddly enough, Vandy seems to have given the tigers trouble in the past, no matter how bad they were... weird... But then again, they never played an LSU team that has the depth, speed, and talent that this one has. Geaux Tigers!!

When you almost lose to Vandy, it feels like a loss. You're probably thinking of the 7-6 game when the Diesel lost one of his wheels. Definitely an ugly game but that strange decision to go for 2 (especially after the penalty) saved Dinardo's Tigers from the embarrassing loss. I'm pretty sure the 35-0 "White-out" game was also the following year so it's been awhile since Vandy beat us.

I must be getting old @@@@@@_____ I can remember too many games I was wrong the last game LSU won 7 to 6 in 97 in 96 LSU won 35 to 0 the game I remember was in 1990 I live here so I guess it stays in my mind longer . I lost money on that game it was Vandy 24 LSU 21 . Again I am sorry for the wrong information. I just hope it will not happen again this year !! GEAUXTIGERS !! Oh ,I will eat ,a bit of humble pie . LOL
I was at that game. That week LSU had did a bus deal for students in memory of some Huey Long train trip (I believe) for students to a Vandy/LSU game. That was one of the more interesting weekends of my student life as far as LSU football goes. The Vandy fans at the end of that game were the most gracious and humble losing fans I'd ever met and spoken too. Everyone, including fans of both sides, was just dumbfounded at Vandy going for 2 at the end of that game.
