1. oooo.....

    i like that idea.

but to really make it a ramen cookoff, you gotta (severely) limit how much can be spent on other ingredients.

  2. Would have to be high enough to buy what you need. Right now Louisiana crawfish tails are going for about $16 a pound. Some other things like crabmeat are expensive too.
  3. but to truly be ramen, it has to be affordable by students. which leaves out crawfish and crabmeat.

otherwise, its just torture. i mean, how cruel is it to tell a student "here's a great way for you to fix that raman - oops, sorry you can only afford to read the recipe".

or maybe two categories. student and non-student ramen.:hihi:
  4. I am in on both!
  5. Lets let the Ramen Robot decide

  6. i dont know....

id bet tigerfanintenn could take the robot in a cookoff!
  7. That was pretty cool, but who would want that kind of overhead? You'd have to sell a lot of soup to cover expenses unless some type of grant is involved.
  8. Maybe, as long as it's not swinging that knife at the end.
  9. I have never eaten a ramen noodle in my life. A girl I dated in the 80's brought some on a camping trip, but it never seemed like real food to me. I'd rather eat beanie weenies. And I don't like beanie weenies.
