How do you guys feel about his article? I mean, who pissed in his Cheerios? I think most "honest" LSU fans will understand that despite the fact we have yet to win a championship, we've still been a GREAT team. We've consistently been in the top 10, what is there to be ashamed of? Like most fans, I remember the dark ages before Saban. I appreciate Saban's turning around of our program--with DiNardo's players--and I appreciate Miles keeping us near the top. I am so sick of everything being about Saban. Why did Rabalais decide to stir the pot? I'm going to school for journalism, and hopefully one day I'll get to cover LSU. However, it seems like a journalist needs to be able to create some kind of drama to keep (or simply get) a job in the media today. It's a shame. :dis: Rabalais is generally a really good sportswriter with an even-keel attitude. What gives?
  2. I read the article this morning and totally disagree with him. I don't understand why he felt the need to write it. I guess that is the way he feels, but he has woefully misread the LSU fan base.

  3. Horrible thing to publish. Wasn't even really creative in the writing style, either. Rabalais is usually pretty good though. Can't always have your A game, I guess.

  4. Sad truth is, for a very vocal minority he is dead on. Some people a very irrational hatred for a former football coach.
  5. And that's the precise reason why I can't understand his purpose for the article. He has a GREAT chance to write something fresh that doesn't have to deal with Miles versus Saban, and what does he do? I guess it was just a poor decision on his part.
