I am only 1/4 as handsome as Brady but 6/4 as funny as Vaughn so overall 7/8 the lady slayer of bradyvaughn hybrid, which is pretty good.

Ya'll are funny, when you say "Slayer" do you mean it just makes us melt or we actually go to bed with you over your shoes? Since this is the question/answer thread. I can't say I've ever been "slayed" over some shoes.......cowboy boots maybe.

Nasty nasty nasty... there's never a reason to wear them, Johnston and Murphys are much nicer and sophisticated.

Yes. London is colder than Louisiana. Jackets are required in many restaurants. You have to dress up to your date and the better ones expect you to be dressy from time to time. Give it to Goodwill in a few years and get a new one. Trust me.

Nah you won't need to get another in a few years. A nice Harris tweed jacket is timeless. Any nice sport coat with sensible details will last forever

I wear the tweed jacket about once a year in Louisiana. Subtle style changes happen in most jackets. It is lost on me but women notice if you are wearing a 10 year old jacket.

Well I hope the women do not mind or notice, because my goal is to be like prince Charles who is above the fashion fray and has literally been wearing the same shoes for 40 years.
