What do you think is worse for your health, recreational marijuana or alcohol use?

I'd think it would have to be booze

Typically it would be alcohol use although a blunt/day would be worse for you than a beer/day. Back in the LSU days, I worked with a black German guy that would always invite us over for an after-work blunt. I'm pretty sure that was much worse than the normal puff or two (or an after work beer).

how about this: imagine your 17 year old son has picked up a habit, which would you prefer, drinking or pot?

also i remember as i kid one of my friends told me that his parents would rather catch him smoking pot than cigarettes. this struck me as lunacy at the time, but clearly it makes perfect sense. cigarettes are completely useless and destructive, and are terrible in all cases. alcohol and pot are normal things that every proper adult should do, one or the other.

oh, another question. d you know anyone who doesnt drink, for a reason other than being a recovering alcoholic or having aan abusive alcoholic parent? if so, wtf is wrong with them? i seriously dont trust or like those people.

also i designed this thread to harness the power of the our collective knowledge, but i am gonna evolve it to include ethical dilemmas i have encountered and discuss right and wrong courses of action.
