somebody else has to think that he's not a very good leader, and not making very good decisions, right?
I'm not arguing, but what makes you say he's not a good leader. Have you heard from anyone that he isn't vocal with the team? Or does he not lead by example? Just curious.
he's probably going by on the field play. Unless he has inside info there is no way to know. The team probably has confidance in him, they are aware of his great talent, they are also aware of mental mistakes. I bet they support him. The leadership thing is hard to describe, I'd say Mauck had it to a great degree. He is improving, just probably too slow for impatient fans like myself. I'm hoping he has a "break out" game agaisnt Florida to show Leak up. :hihi: We all want the best for the Tigers. LSU!
everything has been mentioned pretty much... bottom line, he will improve.... Now the real question..... If someone in the NCAA can throw the ball farther than Jamarcus Russell.... Name him. There I said it. Name him. Cause I got money on JR that NO ONE in the NCAA can throw a ball farther.
I think we need Jamarcuss to play great the next 2 games. I think our defense will need some help in these next 2 games and our offense cant turn the ball over like they have been doing. That problem needs to be fixed now. Being around alot of coaches in high school and college i have always seen coaches teach when you see you are about to be hit to put 2 hands around the ball to protect it. For the life of me i dont understand why every player i see on LSU uses only 1 hand on the ball even when they see they are going to be hit. That needs to be addressed. I saw Texas Tech use a tennis ball machine with their receivers. I think if you drop a pass in a game you have to stay after practice an hour for every drop . If you get a stupid penalty their should be belly flops after practice. We also have to do something to bring the awareness of penalties up and do something to correct that. We lead the league in penalties. Not a good stat. Belly flops and or gassers whatever you want to call em will stop that.
