This isn't even funny, his mechanics may be screwy but he still plays better than Lee.
I'm not trying to be an a-hole or anything but he is much more poised than Lee.

Late in the recruiting season, the experts saw something they liked, because he jumped from around 16th to 8th in the rankings of dual-threat QBs.

But you are right about him being discussed as a QB who had pretty raw talents throwing the ball. I wish he had Lee's quick release.

There were a few plays that his long windup cost him getting the ball to the receiver on time.

The problem with Scott is that since he lacks the ability to get to the edge, he needs a real good passing threat to succeed. We obviously don't have that...

I'm talking about each player when they were coming out of high school - not currently.

He has looked really bad the last two or three games. I wonder if the long stretch of games took a toll on him and he is just worn down.

I can buy the fact JJ needs work on mechanics, his release looks painful. Its long and slow. I cant buy the fact our 4th string QB only knows 5 plays. There is no excuse for that lack of development.

Most teams' 4th string QB don't know many plays. Why is this shocking?

He's been splitting reps with 1st team for 5 or 6 weeks now. He should know more than 5 plays.

so, if he doesn't learn, how is that the coaches fault?
he got the reps, what else do you want the coach to do?

He's been playing football for how many years? I dont buy the fact we recruited someone who cant learn more than 5 plays in the amount of time he's been splitting reps with first team. You got to scheme an offense around what works for your talent. 5 plays dont work.
