He would be if he played a game like Duck Hunt, where he has to hit a moving target instead of...say..BEER PONG!

The whole "he's a redshirt freshman" argument now no longer applies to Lee. Garcia is a redshirt freshman as well and plays like a senior.

Lee still isn't ready and LaFell still can't catch under pressure. :dis:

I was gonna comment on your post BUT I figured I would let the game back me up.

HOPEFULLY since I am posting this at halftime things will change and I will look like a horseass.

That being said.......First YES I saw Lafell drop the ball that hit him in his hands and in stride. That was his fault (although in his defense he was proably looking for the pass 5 yards behind him and was freaked out that it was in his numbers)

And for all those people that say we must forgive his inexperience...correct me if I am wrong here but USC qb is a REDSHIRT freshman...and isnt he playing in his FIRST GAME????????

And Dude the first non pressure throw that was horrible off target came at 13:35 in the 1stQ!

You left out the perfectly thrown deep pass to Byrd that hit him in stride in both of his hands..that he dropped.

If you're gonna pick the kid apart at every poor throw, (and yes...there were some really poor throws)...at least step up and admit (without conditions) that he made some good throws tonight. I was glad to see them stretch the field finally. We have the horses...and he CAN make that throw. There isn't a throw he can't make...just a few that he SHOULDN'T make.

Besides, I think we DID find a QB situation tonight. Lee AND Hatch workedvery well together in the second half.
