they both threw it about the same accuracy... the only difference is Flynn is worlds faster... he can get out of trouble that russell couldn't get out of
Sorry, but you need to wake up. It is sooo obvious that Flynn is the better all around quarterback and the team responds better to him. He makes better reads, decisions, throws a more catchable ball, can run out of trouble. The list goes on. JaMarcus has a great arm and can throw the ball through a brick wall, but that also lends itself to uncatchable passes. Could this be one of the problems our receivers had all year with dropped passes? I think it had a tremendous amount to do with it. JaMarcus is a very good quarterback, but the team does better with Matt in the spot. I will go as far as to say that we could have gone undefeated with Matt at the helm. This is how our offense should have run all year long!!! What was the difference? MATT FLYNN!!!
It may not be obvious to everyone but it was obvious to anyone other than an eskimo tonight. Flynn deserves the opportunity under a fair assessment, not some potential BS, to be the starting QB. As would anyone else who saw what I saw.
Who said he didn't deserve a fair shot? Flynn kicked ass Miami's ass tonight and did just about everything perfectly. But no, I don't think it is obvious that Flynn is bar none a "much better" QB than Russell. He had a fantastic game but I am not ready to say we should automatically bench Russell just because of one game.
Nor would you as a coach :thumb: People are taking my comments as me saying Flynn didnt play great. BS....but I am saying its ridiculous to automatically hand over the reins to him without giving Russell an equal opportunity

I agree with you on both of those lol Yeah they all should be given a chance. here's what I wish, I wish JR had the poise MF has. OR Matt had the athleticism that JR has.
