Recently, most purple games are on PPV. This could very well be that game. I'd rather white, personally.

I thought that meant LSU fans to wear 'purple' for the 'purple game' and 'gold' for the 'gold game'; not what the color shirt the *team* is wearing to play

I know it never rains in Tiger Stadium, but will never forget the UF game of 2001.... left Picayune MS that morning with temps in the 80-90 range... by the time we got to campus it had dropped 40 degrees... so hit the bookstore for sweatshirts and sweatpants to pull on for the game.... got into the stands and the bottom dropped out. Had a blast anyway and stayed till the bitter end... then spent the next 2 weeks sick as a dog.
FWIW, West Virginia is wearing gold jerseys for the LSU game....so it could be purple or white for that game.
