Tyrann sometimes looks like he knows ahead of time how he is going to strip the ball out, exactly where it is going to land, and exactly how it is going to bounce. What's more, the ball seems to hover until he gets to it after the strip. That guy is the most tenacious player I think I have ever seen.

I thought it was very fitting that Mathieu "inherited" Patrick Peterson's number. Peterson intercepted a pass on the last play of the game (and his final game as an LSU Tiger) against Texas A&M, then carried Mathieu around on his shoulders in victory. Then, last night, Mathieu scored the first LSU touchdown in the new season, wearing Peterson's number. The torch has been passed! Magnificently!:thumb:

    He's just uncanny.

I have never seen the likes of it, having a nose for the ball like that.

He won't drop that pick 6 next time, trust.

and my man crush on mr mathieu just got worse. if that was even possible.

if he would have scored on that dropped pick 6 they should have just added his face to mt rushmore.

If Thomas throws the two passes last night to the WR, TM7 has two easy picks. Once the QB opens his shoulders, he broke on the ball. He was baiting the QB to make the right throws.

Undersized? For what? They have players in the NFL that are 5'8"

The bad part, we may not see him his Sr year at LSU..
