    BCS Standings
    USC........ .9909

In Harris' poll, I basically gave Miami all 3rd place votes and LSU all 4th place votes. If anyone has LSU lower than 4th, then that's just pathetic. Same for USA poll, except I think a few coaches will have LSU at 3 over Miami. Again, if any coaches have LSU any lower than 4th, I want their nutsacks on a string.

LSU more than likely will not overtake Miami if both win out and both win their CCG. Miami's CCG opponent will be comparable to LSU playing Georgia....unless FSU decides to lose another game when they play Florida....then it gets interesting....especially since a Florida win helps LSU. So everyone needs to pay attention to that game in 2 weeks. Georgia of course needs to win out to get back to near top 10 status.

LSU is on the heels of Miami in 4 of the polls, but Miami looks to widen that margin by playing a couple of 6-3 teams in GTech and Virginia these next 2 weeks while LSU plays sub .500 teams. So all in all, almost impossible for LSU to pass Miami without a Miami loss. On the flip side, Miami will be playing 2 decent teams, which means they may in fact lose to one of them, although both are at home.

Basically, LSU will have a legitimate shot come December 3rd at playing in the BCS title game. It's not likely, but it is legitimate.

    Dec. 3rd (likely games)
    -----------------------
    LSU/Georgia
    UT/Colorado
    USC/UCLA
    Miami/FSU

2 teams must lose out of the big 3 (USC, UT, Miami). I am not convinced however that if USC loses, they would fall any further than #2 in the BCS. UCLA would be highly ranked (top 10 possibly) and the pollsters would maybe only knock USC down to #3 and LSU would still be behind them at #4. Figuring in either UT or Miami loss, then USC would only fall to #2, and LSU only move up to #3. Sad but true.

    It would be sooooo sweet.

I just have my sights set on the SEC title this year. Anything else is bigtime lagniappe.

It is amazing the depth we have RB. I know it has been said before. Still it amazes me.

I think you are being a little generous with the compute rankings. I see you have LSU ranked 6th in the Saragrin. They just came out and LSU is 8th. LSU will probably improve their computer ranking from tie 13th to around 7-8. It probably won't be enough to over take Penn State in the BCS.

I expect the BCS to look like this.
    1. USC
    2. Texas
    3. Miami
    4. Penn State
    5. LSU

4th or 5th, doesn't matter unless USC or Texas loses one...the BCS game this season is just like the Woodson/Manning Heisman sham.

We will not go to the Rose bowl this year... even if USC or Texas lose 1 game and miami loses another... the media want USC v VY... and they will get it
