Could he sign a free agent contract with an NFL team now, or does he have to wait until his high school class becomes juniors in college? If the NCAA says he's not academically eligible, seems he should not be barred from the NFL. You gotta make a living.
He can play in the NFL for the 2008-2009 season. Until then, he should play semi-pro or canadian football
I feel sorry for the guy. I think he's one of those guys who was probably exploited by his schools and ignored by his parents. He probably never got the attention he really needed until it was time to start worrying about qualifying for college. By then it was too late. I wish him well.
