Saban being Saban til the end. At the end of the game, he said to Les "you have great team." You know he did that intentionally. The guy was always an a-hole and that's why we loved him when he was here. This is certainly the beginning of fun games to come.

He also said "Good Luck." It was a terse exchange. Not unfriendly, but not really friendly either.

You know Les wanted to say, "Yeah, and you know you'd give your left nut to be back at LSU."

What did you expect him to say?

He gave the compliment that he owed. It was probably hard for him to do it, but he did.

He is a great coach. Yeah he slid out of here with a lie or two, but if not for him we may still be fighting to get out of the crapper we were in before he got here. It is obvious he has regretted his decision to leave here, and that to me is punishment for his mistake.

Other than that, he is a hell of a coach, and we gotta play him every year while hes there.

No, you missed it then, instead of saying something like, great job coach or good game, he specifically said, "you have a good team." That was a back handed compliment. Quite frankly it was well thought out. But he knows exactly what he did.

Edit: Just to be clear, I don't hate Nick, I appreciate what he did for us. He's just the same guy he as always been and always will be, that's my point.

Finally a post from you that I agree with:thumb:. He has always been kind of a self absorbed pompous arrogant jerk...perfect fit for bama.

I never remember reading about Saban being born in a manger in Bethlehem...nor do I remember him on a cross at Calvary? I don't know why everyone calls him the "savior" of LSU. LSU did as much for him as he did for us. It was a mix of things that brought about our success. Who is our AD again? Ole Skip - EXACTLY - a WINNER who will breed winning programs.
