Actually, seeing as how Calco prefaced his post by saying "I usually try to defend John Brady and i am running out of reasons too", if anything, 99 verified Calco's claims. You can only defend a coach for so long until the truth surfaces. Calco is realizing the truth about Brady. Some of you are still in the dark.

This is not a good team. Blame whomever you want to.

Last year's team was very good. Credit whomever you want to.

Just try not to cry about it.

i agree with you Tygrr, but no one else was saying anything so i thought i read calco's posts wrong. it seems like he's been a brady defender and now the team's downward spiral is changing his mind. but i don't know enough about posters' histories to know if that thought process is flawed or not.

i think brady is an average coach who gets what he should out of teams with good talent and not enough from teams with sub par talent.

what that says to me is when he's able to recruit he can do some good but he's a horrible motivator. some of the players should get the blame too but the tigers have lost too many close ones and lost too many games they should have won.

it seems like brady does his best while awaiting a stay of execution. so expect a losing season next year, then people will want him fired then he'll take the team to the final 8 in 2009 suffer two more NIT/1st rd NCAA exits followed by a sweet 16 and rinse and repeat....

I think you're wrong. 99 just proved his point. He specifically said he used to defend Brady but couldn't any longer.

IMO, Brady is an average coach that does not squeeze the most out of his players and does not know how to make the proper gametime adjustments. Give him great talent, and he comes out looking rosy. Give him average talent and his true coaching ability surfaces. If after 10 years you can't see this, probation or not, then you need a serious reality check.

The team got in a rut when Davis was injured. They lost their confidence and now can't get any momentum.
Davis is still injured and is probably exhausted from carrying the team.
If talent was the reason we won last year, where did it go. Thomas is doing very little in comparison to the other ealry NBA draftees.
We had a team of players with limited ability last year but together that played well and made enough plays to win. Lazarre, Rolle, and Johnson are backups that have been forced into starting. They have proven they can't be counted on night after night.

our team got in a rut when they decided it was best for baby to play pg and float around the perimeter into the short corner...instead of the post.
