1. Brennan, Guice, Brossette, others all tweeting how upset they are over CLM firing. I get it, he's a players coach. They love him. But surely even they see the trend downwards? Recruiting will take a hit but how bad? Cam Cameron was fired mid season from the Ravens if I remember correctly and now mid season from a college football team. I can't imagine Myles Brennan was coming to LSU for the QB development genius duo that was cam and les? Losing Brennan would hurt tremendously.
  2. Brennan wouldn't have done shit here with Miles and Cameron

  4. Very predictable and understandable reactions. I don't think recruiting will be affected much at all.
  5. How does the rest of the season look ya'll are smarter than me . We have no defense and no O line can we fire them also ??
  6. I have read that most of the recruits are still all LSU, said they committed to LSU not a coach. On a positive note, Brennen is still all LSU.

  8. Brennan should be excited about the possibility of Herman or Fisher coming in.

  9. I would expect the current recruiting class to see some defections/reconsiderations until we name a new coach. After that it is not going to be a problem, LSU administration just has to get the right coach named. Unfortunately if we take a run at Herman, its likely that he wont be available until after their projected Jan 1 bowl game. Les gets some credit for recruiting but the big recruiter for LSU was Frank Wilson who WAS responsible for a lot of LSU recruiting success fro many years and that is why frank was being paid near 500,000 per year. Running back coach Jabarre Juluke has the New Orleans Area locked down just as Frank did. Again, Alleva has to get that coach; If Herman is a competitior their is NO better job available, We are a top 5 program, We have deep in state talent, No better conference. If he chooses to stay at Houston over LSU than he is not a competitor. The only other option for Herman may be USC if that opens and that is a long shot. I cant see him not giving us a SERIOUS look.
