he's made his mark by handicapping the Big-10 and selling his games of the year or whatever. he has/had a very high win % and actually the day he releases his picks its enough to move the vegas line 2+ points.

Steele pegged A&M and Bama as some of the most improved teams last year and IMO got them somewhat correct. LSU and UGA is what I have been saying for months now. Everyone talks about UT...they have no D.....Florida...same way...UGA is the under-dog with a DC who follows Brian Van Gorder, their previous DC..... Just watch....a repeat of 2003
This guy is on the radio in Houston each week during football season and he has to be correct with his picks at least 75% of the time! What is just as impressive is his knowledge on all of the small insignificant teams in the NCAA. People call up asking questions about Baylor, Miami of Ohio, Akron, etc... and he give a complete scouting reports on these teams.
