Not enough can be said about him. If we would have won the game he'd be crowned a hero but even in losing he played like a champion. Shut down Julio Jones all game long, only blemish was a very questionable pass interference call.

Played through leg cramps, anyone can tell you that is definitely not an easy thing to do. And even after all looked like it was said and done, came up with a big time play that unfortunately got called back. But you can't deny his effort and his heart.

He will go down as one of our best defensive backs ever.

I agree with everything you've said. You're watching the next Tommy Casanova! That guy is GREAT!

I think we'll see #7 retired with his name on it someday.

He is one of the most dominant players I've ever seen.

So glad he's a Tiger! :geaux:

Peterson was awesome. Unfortunately, his best moment was stolen from him by the refs, who were ordered to make sure Bama won the game.

Agreed. Unreal on that play -- there was a clearly a divet in the turf whre his foot hit. Really makes you wonder about a conspiracy between this and all the other blown calls...

There was plenty of time on the clock for us on offense, even w/ no timeouts.

I may be wrong, but I'm guessing that if PP was in the game, that Julio Jones wouldn't have had that long TD catch and run.

He damn sure didn't do that when PP was in the game.

Might as well get the Peterson for Thorpe/Heisman campaigns going for next season. If he doesn't get equal the amount of hype that Eric Berry has gotten this year, it'll be a travishamockery.

He's the greatest cornerback I've ever seen at LSU, maybe even the best defensive player period aside from perhaps Glenn Dorsey.

There is no excuse for Peterson not be properly hydrated for this game. None. He is personally responsible for the Julio Jones TD by not being in the game when it counted.

This game should have been won. Bama doesn't have a hope in hell of beating Florida.
