Funny you mention that because there are gigantic pump bottles of Purel at the counters when you walk in to pay.

That made me laugh out loud.

Pancho's absolutely rocked. We went to the on on Nicholson so much when we were at  our regular waitress (didn't all of you have a regular Pancho's waitress?:hihi:) knew exactly what we wanted for our second and third courses and would bring it without us having to raise the flag. I don't know if I'm proud or ashamed.

I've seen the one on Airline in Metaire, but haven't been there yet. The last one I went to was in Baytown and it just wasn't the same.

i went to the pancho's in albuquerque last week and loved it. it is not quite as good as it was when i was a kid, but it is still good. and the sopapillias remain fantastic.
  5. Your taste buds must be on life support. Grow up and go to Ninfas and spend the extra cash
  6. i like ninfa's (which isnt particularly authentic or classy either), but that doesnt mean i dont like pancho's, or even taco bell for that matter. i like food. pancho's sopapillias are awesome.
  7. A few "ninfaritas" almost killed me during Spring Break in Louisiana. I think I'm off of that place--for life.

Pancho's may be safer, with or without the Purel.
  8. I ate at a Panchos once.
  9. Expensive food is not always better food, Jose. I've eaten at dive East L.A. Taqueiros that are better than Ninfa's.
  10. That isn't hard. Mexican food is supposed to be flavorful. Ninfa's needs to re-learn this. The best Tacos I have ever had came from a truck.
