Overtime rule question
  1. Had LSU scored the TD on that last drive, could we have just kicked an extra point and won, or would we have been forced to go for 2 to win it?

    I have never watched a game get to that point, so I have no idea what the rule is.

    I assume we could have just kicked the PAT and hauled ass?
  2. Both teams must go for two beginning in OT#3.
  3. I think we should have gone for two in teh 1st OT but thats just the gambler in me.
  4. makes me feel a bit better to know we werent 17 yards from sure victory with a simple PAT.
  5. yeah i actually thought we should have saved the play that got us the 1st OT TD for a 2 pt convert

  6. sad part was I was sitting at home, watching OT3, and thinking if we score, we will easily RUN it in for the 2 PT Conv..........:eek:
  7. I'm gonna go play ncaa 08 and run up the score on kentucky.
