The reality is, within the game itself, Miles has outcoached Saban the last 4 years. One of the radio guys here in Alabama pointed out that when you consider the relative strengths of the teams, only in '07 did Saban outcoach Miles. That year, his 7-5 squad took the eventual national champs to the brink. In 08, Miles took a 7-5 LSU team to overtime against the #1 Tide. In 09, LSU was only a little better than the previous year and gave the eventual national champs everything they wanted--only a great play by Julio while Zod was having cramps won the game.
