Get extra beer before going out for new years eve. go out in dallas for new years eve. get back at 230am. drink beer that was bought earlier (tailgating). don't stop drinking, don't sleep, go to game and beat (insert team). sounds like fun!

Two years in a row the loser of the SECCG has gone to the Peach. Each bowl has an agenda. The Citrus Bowl wants the highest ranked team, and rarely takes the SECCG loser--in fact, I can't remember the last time they took a SECCG loser. The Outback wants an SECE team and have been rather vocal about it. The Cotton usually wants an SECW team, and wants to space out when a team goes there.

I would rather not have all the fixed tie-ins. I would be interested in seeing how LSU would travel to the Holiday Bowl.

Hot damn, I'm hoping for the Cotton Bowl.

I went their for the UT/LSU game, which was painful.

Then I went to the A&M/OSU game in '04 (wife is an Aggie.) Damn, that was painful. Hung over, nobody to tailgate with, showing up for a noon kick at a game I didn't care about, only for the game to be over by the 2nd quarter. AND THEN, hearing on the radio how we lost to Iowa. Yea, I'd like to forget that day.

If LSU rolls up this year, I'm not going out for New Year's. I'll be tailgating at 6:00 am with Bloody Marys, beer, and grillades for everyone.

That's already sounding like a great time, and a perfect way to deal with a less-than-ideal season.

Who do we need to lose to in order to get that invitation? :hihi:
