Ohio State was thumped by Florida in 2007 Ohio State was thumped by LSU in 2008 Texas barely beats Ohio State in 2009 With Texas Tech and Oklahoma State losing to SEC and Pac-1 schools...the Big 12 would have had a major meltdown without this last second win. Even so, I think this proves that Texas was not the best team in the country. Eliminate them and USC from any discussion about the best team. ...and then there were three: Florida, Oklahoma, Utah
i think they beat ND the year before we did think that would have been their freshman year. i could be wrong on the year though.

Two...Utah doesn't get a free pass. They played no one all year except 'bama and some piece of crap PAC 10 team. It can't be hard to play only one big game per year...unless you're Ohio St.
