Oregon fans had no right to boo or to even think that we were doing it on purpose. Earlier in the game, we had 2 linemen go down with craps (Oregon's very own players were dropping for the same reasons too).

But the play that REALLY stuck under my skin was when Edwards was down on the sideline after being involved in big hit. Our guy lay face down, not moving and I immediately thought, "Stinger", but when he stayed down, I hoped it was nothing serious....and then the chorus of "boos" rained down. Pathetic. :dis:

Yup, and one of our players got injured on the 2nd play of the series so obviously it wasn't a fake. I really can't wait to see Oregon's opponents boo their injured players when they really go down to see what it feels like.

Personally, I never suspected that LSU would try to fake an injury.

It was very clear that cramping was a big problem. The Oregon radio announcers blast the fans who boo injuries, every time, they ask other fans to talk to the booing, and make them understand how bad it makes us look. Doesn't seem to help.
All I can say more is, there's no evil intent behind it, and it's not even poor sportsmanship, it's simply.... Idiots not realizing how stupid they're acting.

For what it's worth, you have my apology. No good Oregonian wants to see a player hurt

PURPLE TIGER HOPE is not a strategy!

If a guy goes down and comes back a play later...I may suspect something. I saw a few LSU players who remained out for several plays so I doubt it was an intentional maneuver.

LSU's defense was prepared and did a good job against the no huddle offense. I'm not surprised if other (lesser) opponents attempted to slow the game but it didn't appear to be a major factor for LSU's defense.

Cramping in the first game makes sense to me. These players (both teams) were hyped to play on such a huge stage.
    • 1st game
    • National TV
    • Two Top-5 teams
    • Both with BCS title hopes
I'm surpised more cramping...more mistakes...more nerves...more injuries didn't occur. It's too bad there aren't more games like this. Instead we'll have to listen to ESPN tell us Boise State desrves a chance because they'll be playing Little Sisters of the Poor.

I obviously realize it's not the respectful Duck faithful and it's nice to hear that Oregon also recognizes what's happening and is trying to get the fans (that do do it) to correct their behavior.

Now....win out so it helps our strength of schedule. ;)

I know the Suckeyes beat them, but when did Ohio St. join the club? Defense is the same reason they lost 9 straight games to SEC teams in bowl games before last year. (And shudda, cudda, wudda lost to Ark)

Ohio state has a good defense for a non sec team. Their defense is better than say vandy, state, Kentucky or ole piss. They just don't have an elite sec defense. There are big gaps between the lsu and bama's and the sec bottom tier teams. Moo state is on the rise and will upset someone this year. Hopefully it's bama.

We played 55 players in this game. Still building depth.

    Boise State needs

I think Boise State and Texas A7M need to get in the SEC at the same time ,
