Its 24-20 LSU late in the 4th quarter. Eli leads a stirring comeback, driving the team down to the 5 with 7 seconds to play. Plenty of time to run 3 plays ( heh heh). On 4th and goal from the 5, Eli calls the QB draw and nudges the ball over the goal line for a 27-24 Rebel win ! Heisman voters across the land reach for their ballots to write in "Eli Manning". Hooray !..............I just awoke from my nap-- it will be 42-6 LSU

I peer into my crystal ball and see a final score of:

    LSU ------ 38
    Ole Miss - 17

.....and Ole Miss has to put in a backup QB because Eli is buried somewhere under their own 22 yardline. A search and rescue squad has been dispatched from Jackson and should arrive within 30 minutes.

In the meatime, LSU wins 38 - 17.

Kidding aside.....the Rebel offense is a little better than Alabama as a whole, but I just cannot see them holding back our ferocious defense.

Good post, 47. LOL over "Plenty of time to run 3 plays"! There have been a lot of close games in this series and many have gone down to the wire. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it happen again this year. It just seems like the Tigers are due for a close game. I do firmly believe that my Tigers will win, and I hope it isn't even close... but you just never know what may happen in a given college football game on any given Saturday...
