My offseason depression has started to kick in. The realization that no more LSU football games for a long time has started to pop up in my brain. But with all the Coach moves and craziness it looks like an eventfull offseason. Recruiting and New Hire info will hopefully keep my mind off the fact that it will be Sept. before i get to see my Tigers play again. Looking back i am really proud of our Coaches and Team from 2006. 11-2 for the second straight season is really a great accomplishment. 1 game taken from us and we self destructed with turnovers in the other or we could have been the ones dismantling Ohio St in the MNC game. On Nick Saban i have done some thinking and these are my first posted thoughts on what happenned. - I will always be greatfull to Nick Saban for coming to LSU and doing what he did for our University. There is no doubt LSU benefitted from him being there in many ways. - I was dissapointed in the way he left and didnt feel like he thought through his decision or he wouldnt have left at all. In fact it looks like he regrets that decision the most and went to Bama to try and find what he lost. - Also handling his departure bad and not showing the integrity or class he would expect from everyone else. - Bama will never be LSU and i think he will find that every situation is different. Bama is not the only school the state pulls for and he will not get everyone he wants like he did at LSU. - Nick Saban will not win an MNC at Bama even though he will win ballgames and go to bowl games. I dont know if that is good enough for the Bama faithfull that live in the past and think they are God's gift to this earth. Worse than delusional Notre Dame fans. - And the most important thing is he created the monster that is LSU and the Dynasty is building with the momentum he started. We are still picking up speed and rolling downhill baby. Our recruiting is top notch and Coach Miles know how to steer the ship in the right direction. He is getting more comfortable at LSU with every passing day and our future is bright my friends. - And Nick Saban is now Tigerbait. Little Nicky when you see the LSU Tigers again you are going to be dead meat and we are gonna be very hungry. The sleeping Tiger Giant is awake and it aint looked forward to eating Elephant like this in a long time. Your in our way Saban and we are going to crush you !!!!

Baseball is in my cross-hairs. Basketball frustrates me too much, but gotta love Tiger Roundball too!
We finished the season ranked #3 in the nation are loaded with talent and having a great recruiting class so far. Back to back top five finishes and probably preseason top 5 next season, no reason to be depressed just ready to get the next one started. HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY
Dont get me wrong i pull for the Tigers in all sports but their will always be one sport that is king with me and that is LSU Football. It started with Charlie Mac for me as a little kid and my dad being a football coach when i was growing up i just put football as my favorite.
I miss football, but to get depressed after the season the football team just gave us, no way.:geauxtige You know I just can't say it enough.:geauxtige Great season and I am looking forward to more of the same.:geauxtige :thumb:
Man it's like that all the time, I don't even notice it anymore. I think it's just by the interstate. I don't really go down that way too often. I get on I-10 at the other on ramp.
