To criticize the maker of the film is one thing but since he only spent maybe 20 seconds on film proclaiming himself as an independent I find that point moot. If you actually watched the film, it is comprised mostly of Phillip Berg talking about his suit against Obama on the basis that he believes Obama was born in Kenya; not Hawaii. Also, there are forms shown and facts made about Obama's time in Indonesia that would dismiss him from the presidency. Sure, it may be controversy, but it is more believable than "9/11 was a government cover-up." Someone correct me if I am wrong, but the constitution doesn't specifically define "natural born" citizen. From what i remember from civics class, it basically entails if you are born in the US, on US territory (including embassy's and bases on foreign soil), or if one of your parents is a legal citizen of United States, then you are considered a natural-born citizen of the US. Therefore, it really doesn't matter if he wasn't born in Hawaii because one of his parents was a legal citizen of the US at the time of his birth. I'm no supporter of Obama but there are better things to waste your time on than this.

He was born in Hawaii, so all of the rumor business about his foreign father's marraige and his mother's youth making him technically a non-citizen is moot, even if it were true. That only applies to US citizens born outside the United States. Obama was born in the US which makes him a natural born citizen. Did you know that John McCain was born in Panama? :grin:
