1. red has created an image of himself as a moderate and he is trying to live up to it. it isnt about truth for him, it is about thinking of himself as a wise fella who examines all sides and comes to wonderful compromises, like king solomon.

    here is an SAT analogy:

martin is to iconoclast HL mencken

    as

red is to wise sage king solomon

we are trying to maintain these absurd personas.
  2. I AM that I am.
  3. Truer words have never been spoken, you far left nut job.:thumb:
  4. Wow. I knew it, you're the kook.
  5. All of your "points" are moot and your perceptions of reality seem to be greatly skewed. He's gone boss, accept it.
  6. I got a case of beer wagered with SabanFan on that outcome. What do you say?

    Bass Ale, by-the-way. Accept it.
  7. I'll take a bottle of patron silver instead. :D
  8. 0bama losing ground amongst independent voters and middle-America, as every day passes. Polls are showing people to vote against 0bama as 36 to a whopping 49 percent.
  9. And last year they were much different. And next year they will be much different. The election is a long way off. All curves have a low point.

I think the GOP might take the senate, but not the White House. The republicans are not running any intellectual heavyweights and a couple of genuine kooks. The candidate that wins the GOP by going far right will be unelectable in a general election. The left-leaning independents will go all in for Obama and the right-leaning independents will hold their noses and go in for Obama, too.

    Just like last time.
