I think we will win the Sugar Bowl, and I think it will be hard fought game. BUT--even if LSU loses, I consider this to be the greatest season since 1958 and I am very proud of our team for far exceeding the expectations they had coming into the season. Win or lose, we will have proven we belong in the game and will serve notice to the college football world, that we, like General MacArthur, will return ;p Geaux Tigers!

I've found 6 major weaknesses to be exploited by LSU ... top of the list is a huge weakness in the right side of the OU Off line ... SOMETHING THEY CAN'T FIX OVERNIGHT. THIS GAME WON'T EVEN BE CLOSE ... WE'LL SEE ... I seem to remember this same wart all worried about Arkansas & Georgia ... AND ALL WET ON HIS PICKS :shock:
1. LSU is in a situation to WIN THE BIG ONE, for heavens sake! 2. I don't give half a damn about the national media's spin on the bowl situation. They are in the entertainment business. 3. LSU is not hated by the national media. We just haven't paid our dues yet. Nationally they still remember we had eight losing seasons in the 1990's. Those of us who sat throught them understand why the media has a wait-and-see attitude. When LSU wins the Sugar Bowl, the dues will have been paid and LSU will reap much publicity. 4. I can't believe this whining about the bowl games. It's no controversy to me. If LSU wins on January 4, we will take home the national championship trophy. USC and Oklahoma can annoint themselves anything they want to. Who cares?
Frankly, I couldn't care less if the national media applauds us or not. I just want to win the game and have an entire off-season to brag to all my Big XII friends.
That makes 2 of us....Or we could resolve to agree in the greater principle regardless of the little topic on hand...That might work for both of us...
