What bowl game did the hogz play in last year? Was it the Independance Bowl, EV1.net?....oh wait....nevermind...
It was a desperation move. Everyone knows it. This coach also uses a system that's never been proven in the SEC, will have a true freshman at QB (likely) and yet you think he can get Arkansas 11 wins?  WOW. I can understand Arkansas fans being excited about the future. I can understand Arkansas fans thinking their team will be much improved, but this statement is absolutely ridiculous!
Am I the only one not intrigued by that opening Sept 2 game against USC? The Hogs and their fans will be sky high, in a game at home, against a team that embarassed them on national TV last season. Not saying an upset can or will happen...but damn if VY and Texas didn't escape by the skin of their teeth in an early trip to Arky in 2004...
I am 100% Sizzle-lean for that game. [Edit]: And I do believe Arkansas can win. Last season was the first season in a while I didn't think the hogs had it. I think Nutt is a good coach. If Arkansas can compete against good SEC teams, they can compete against USC.
I think some of that pig sh*t you've been smelling is rotting your brain if you think the Pigletts will win 10 or 11 games next season...Just be greatful that your women's basketball team can cover 11 wins. C'mon, Porky....You honestly can't expect to come to the message board of an SEC team that has managed to win the SEC WEST more times than not the past couple of seasons, as well as posting a top 6 finish in '05 and boast about your "high-school-head-coach-turned-major-college-OC" and TRUELY believe that we're going to be in awe of your offense... Now...if it were up to me, I would give you the one thing that your football team can't seem to get......"The BOOT". Take care, Green Eggs and Ham.
Good points, good points, but you can't tell me that we're not going to compete in the SEC next year. And oh yeah, CParso up there, Mitch may not start next year, if you didn't notice, Casey Dick was really coming on nearing the end of last season. I don't care what you think of Gus Malzahn, because there are people up here that say the same exact thing. Personally, I think he will make for a decent coordinator in his first season, and really light it up in the years following. If anyone has read all my posts, I noted that we weren't scrapping the run game, just throwing in the shotgun offense, too. We'll still run out of the I and hand it off...
