Brilliant actor. From Snape to Col Brandon to Gruber...he could play the villain better than most (although Brandon wasn't a villain).
I really liked Rickman, he was a great villian in Die Hard, and funny in Galaxy Quest. His characters always had a little extra touch of something to make them interesting to watch.
Damn it is right. I'll throw in a fuck! If you haven't had the privilege to see arguably his finest acting performance, please do yourself a favor and watch Rasputin. He plays the title role.
