Buddy Landel: Knoxville, Tenn., Wrestler Known as 'The Nature Boy' Reportedly Dies at 53 A friend said Landel died at his home in Chilhowee, Va., WATE reported. The cause of death was not disclosed. He began wrestling in 1979 and battled "Nature Boy" Ric Flair in the ring.
