Hey guys, this is my first year (i'm a grad student) at LSU and don't register until mid august. I keep wondering, how do students get tickets to football and basketball games? Thanks for the help.
According to lsu.edu, you could have started ordering tickets on July 8th. New grad students are treated the same as freshmen as far as the new point system is concerned I believe. http://sg.lsu.edu/news/june/tickets.htm
Thanks a lot, i'm really looking forward to being here! Is it not possible for students to get individual game tickets? Or can we only get season tickets?
What grad program are you starting? This is the 1st year that some of the programs blocked off some tickets for the grad students. I know a few that just bought a few to hold the seats for the program and are holding tickets for the 1st years since they already have tickets of their own. I am sure you will find out about them when you start classes.
I'm starting my ph.d. in chem. Thanks for the info. I do all of my orientation and registration next month.
A lot of Grad programs have group seating. I went through the MBA program in 2002-2004 and we had our own section. They told us how to get our tickets orientation. I know that the Law school had a similar system as well.
Welcome to LSU! I dont know if the system has changed, but for basketball all you need to get in is your student ID. It's free admission for students. Most people I know in grad programs have blocked off tickets for football. Plus, some student orgs. have reserved tickets. I guarentee you'll get to go see some games. Again, things may have changed since my days, but you can't get just one ticket to a football game. They come as a set. All you do for b-ball is go to the P Mac and show your ID. No ticke required. What university did you get your Bachelors?
