I think the other guy Eyes or whatever already left. I haven't seen anything new from him yet today.

Growing up in South Louisiana and picking ND over LSU? The only possible answer is he must be a genetic mutant.

Who was the last quarterback that LSU faced that made a splash at the next level? Eli? I don't really remember. Who was the last LSU quarterback that made a splash at the next level? David Woodley?[/quote]

Well, after pro scouts see these guys struggle against our NFL caliber defense, they don't get drafted. Guys like Carson Palmer and Matt Lienart get to pad their stats against weak D's like ND and get a shot. Eli looks lost right now, much like he did against us in '03.

    This is for IrishEyes....

Now this is starting to get fun. IrishEyes I hope you hang around.
I've gone through this ever since my freshman year at LSU, so I'm used to it.

The funny thing about the fans down here is that you can never really tell how good LSU is by listening to them. I bet if you there were a forum like this back in the Archer/Curley/DiNardo days, they'd still be giving it to us.
I remember when the stadium went nuts when LSU blocked an extra point and returned it to beat Vandy, the next week the fans were ragging on the next oponent something fierce.

Believe it or not, IrishEyes, they're not any worse now that they've had some success than before. In all sincerity, that is what makes Tiger Stadium (and the Super Dome) such a tough place to play. It will never have the mystique and tradition that ND stadium has, but it will have crazy fans... some of whom are actually watching the game!

The point that I was trying to make is that the 26 point deficit between ND and UM was larger than the any loss LSU has had in a few years. The loss in last year's SEC championshipwas by a score of 34-14 and it only a 20 point margin. The same margin that USC beat ND this year.:helmet:

The last time LSU lost by more than 26 was against Georgia in 2004. FYI.

We never claim to HAVE the second coming of Dan Marino on our team-we just claim we will EXPOSE him and prevent him from being the next NFL great QB. We produce defensive stars in the NFL, and we're OK with that.:geauxtige
