I haven't had much chance to watch any SEC games, so I really don't know what your vulnerabliities would be. BayouIrish could probably answer that better than I could if he lives down there. Nutria, I don't even want to know what that cesspool comment is supposed to mean.
Yeah fellas stick around. Hell fight back. PLEASE! This is getting to be fun. By the way, Bayou, which bayou are you from, and how did you end up a domer?[/quote] Bayou Teche The first college game I ever went to was ND/Georgia as boy, and it just kind of kept going from there. When I graduated, things were going good for ND and not so good for LSU so it was funner to travel to South Bend and watch ND. Been going back every year since. I've only been to about 3-4 LSU games since, including ND/LSU in the Dinardo years.

I think our offense can hang with almost anyone. The problem is that our defense can disappear in big games. Then we fall behind early, and have to toss out the game plan to play catch up.
I hope you're right about that cause if you are this will be a blow out. Our defense is better than USC's.....that was their best game but we play like that against Tenn or UL. When we take the field, it's business. Your offense will not put up big numbers and if your def dissappears, a lot of domers will too cause our offense has been a little inconsistent at times and that's where the questions lie for me. :thumb:
I'd also have to add ND's offensive line. They're one of the biggest, fastest, most experienced lines in the country, and yet they struggle horribly at times. It's more of a problem with consistancy. One minute they're blowing people off the line of scrimage, next Quinn's getting sacked by a 3-man rush. They have the talent to compete w/ LSU's strong front, it will be a matter of whether or not they rise to the occasion.
Our Oline is young and was a big question at the beginning of the year but has shown marked improvement.
LSU hasn't had a QB at the next level for a while, but neither has ND, so we're pi$$ing in the wind with this one. As far as our opponents, that's a missleading Question. Most of the QB's we''ve been facing for the last few years are either still in college, or are rookies right now. Think about it, Leak has benn starting at Florida pretty much since Grossman left, Cutler started the last 2 games we played Vandy,he's a rookie. Croyle started at BAMA for a while, he's a rookie. Jason Campbell started at AU for 15 years, he's a rookie who is starting now. Matt Jones is now a WR in the NFL, you already mentioned Eli. Even the QB's we've faced in bowl games. Wright is still at Miami, Drew Tate is still at Iowa, Jason White scrippled, and Phil Simms boy was a starter before his innards went through that Carolina blizzard. Other than Palmer and Leinart, how many QBs that have made a splash in the NFL has ND faced? I'm asking, because I really don't know the answer to this one.
