Big difference between y'all and us:
We earned our spot in the top 10. Nobody gave it to us because our coach has Super Bowl rings, or because the 4 Horsemen went to ourschool, or because of the Gipper, or Knute Rockne, or Rudy. Hell we barely even get recognition for our title from '03, but you bastards get an automatic vote because y'all were relevant when Jimmy Carter was in office.

Thank God y'all showed up.........that bastard treats us like that too!!
IrishEyes, Nutria's alright. We've been having to eat on each other's asses since no other domers came and they won't let us in the compound but it is interesting to get outside views.

I appreciate you both coming to discuss programs.........you've both represented well but I still can't understand.....Strong Louisiana roots and a converted domer! WTF?? :thumb:

    Back to football....
What is the status of LSU's linebackers? Is Highsmith (sp?) still injured?
Any other injuries that might affect sugar bowl playing time?

ND has a couple of question marks. The starting TE, Carlson is reported to be cleared for the bowl game, but I don't expect he'll be 100%. His backup has done well, but Carlson was playing All American type ball when he got hurt.

The starting safety (I can't even begin to spell his name..Ndke something) went down in the USC game, but I believe it was just a slight sprain. He should be at 100% for the game.

I can't think of any others. IrishEyes, did I miss any?

Nice to see some Irish posters.

Where do you guys see our vulnerabilities?

Anything you think you can take advantage of?

You're like an outboard motor in a cesspool.:hihi:

    I fixed it for you.
This may be the single most disgusting thing you have ever said.

Yeah fellas stick around. Hell fight back. PLEASE! This is getting to be fun. By the way, Bayou, which bayou are you from, and how did you end up a domer?

OK, so everyone remembers/forgets history as it meets our needs.
It's importance is different to each person. History and traditions just happen to be what I like about ND. It is understandable that you would rather forget recent history, and I'm not talking Gipper, Rockne, or Rudy days. I'm not that old. My history w/ ND started in the late 80's to mid 90's when ND was a dominant figure in college football, and competed for No.1 with undeniably the nation's hardest schedules. That happens to be the same time frame that LSU had to look fwd to Miss St for a win.
The pendelum of college football swings constantly. It is only a matter of time, and history will repeat itself. It always has.

I have no problem with people being proud of their history. What I don't like is that the media jumps all over y'all jocks as soon as y'all win a game or two, and automatically assume that those days are coming back. Y'all may be on the right path, but ND isn't there yet. And it's not just y'all, last year Sports Illustrated had a cover story procaliming "BAMA is Back!!!" Well, it looks like they were wrong.
