The last time LSU lost by more than 26 was against Georgia in 2004. FYI.[/quote] Yep, that was UGLY! I had the displeasure of being in Georgia (not at the game) that day. My redemption came last year when I was in Miami on the day of the Peach Bowl, and for several weeks thereafter. I got some nasty looks with my LSU! license plate and hats and shirts. I watched the game at Dave and Busters in Miami. Didn't want to take a chance at a bar rooting against the U.
Here's an interesting stat According the ESPN the current number of NFL by school is as follows: LSU 34 Notre Lame 31 Expect the margin the widen.
I have to respectfully disagree here. Granted, LSU is on roll right now that has lasted about 4-5 years, and ND has just started making a return after a rough 10-12 years, but there is some deffinite progres being made at ND right now. Just like LSU did after Arnsparger left, ND went through a long period of looking for the right coach to get things going again. I've seen a lot of similarities. Remember hoping against logic that the new coach was "bringing back the magic"? Believe it or not, ND and LSU have gone through similar coaching phases. Both had fans excited about the hand picked successor to the favorite coach that left (Davie/Archer). Then both schools had a complete joke (Oleary/Curley - grantted Oleary was a bigger joke since he only lasted a week). Then theres the coach that gave a glimpse of success (Ty/Dinardo) only to slam the door shut again. Now ND has a coach that has changed attitudes and the atmoshere. He's got opponents fans griping about his arrogance, and he's got recruits interested again. I just hope ND ends the similarity here and this coach doesn't go to the next level. He says he's not interested in the NFL. He wouldn't be lying, would he?
You probably wouldn't want to anyway  ......It's a caricature digging. I understood your point though. :thumb:
I'm still here Nutjob... Thanks for taking my slack BayouIrish. Hey Nutria, do you treat all of LSU's opponents so warmly?
