With the anticipation of Joe Burrow receiving the Heisman, who’s on your Mt. Rushmore of LSU athletics?

    Cannon
    Burrow
    Bertman
    Maravich

Amazing to consider we are living through a great moment in LSU athletic history.

Might be arguable, but Shaq should be on there IMO. Wish he won a title but neither did Maravich

And the Matts (Flynn and Mauck) and Hester are on my list, maybe they didn't win the Heismen, but they won it all.

And then the biggest argument would be Saban and Miles, they probably are up there IMO.

The last one would be the large hill next to the mountain, fitting stature.

While lesser known, you have to have Pat Henry who led LSU's Men and Women to 27 Track and Field national championships.

Maybe we should have separate Rushmores for players and coaches. Players only have 4 years.

Charles Alexander, Kevin Faulk, Tyrann Matthieu, Bob Petit, Tommy Casanova. Really too many to name. How about a wall or set of walls? One for football and others for basketball, baseball and track?

The problem with doing a "Rushmore," is that, at the time Rushmore was developed, there had only been about thirty presidents.'
You could probably make an argument for thirty coaches or players to be considered as Lsu elite.
