It wasn't all coaching as Harris was off on many of his throws, there was a lot of pressure as the o-line was garbage. But yeah, the coaches are responsible in the end.
"Thank you, thank you very much"
Agreed.
Adjustments were made in the second half. It was why they were able to run the ball more effectively. In the first half they ignored the back side D end and several times he ran down the line and made tackles from behind, also they could not block Watt with one guy. In the second they motioned a receiver, usually Dural, in tight and he blocked down on the backside D-end. Fournette had a few nice runs with that adjustment. They also started double teaming Watt, which worked about half the time. That dude is beastly like his brother.
Agreed. Maybe should have been. Harris missed a lot of throws. Some early with a clean pocket were high. Later he had a lot of pressure and never looked comfortable.
They had an entire series in the third quarter with three receivers and one tight end using the read option. Harris always handed it off though and there were at least two plays where he probably could have picked up big chunks if he kept it.
Only once on the play that Guice fumbled on the third or fourth series.
Les has never done this and likely never will so it shouldn't surprise anyone at this point.
Once again, agreed!
Not to nitpick but they did mix in a lot of the things that you say they didn't.
